Flounder

35cm Flounder for Gerry McBrearty

27 January: Good night’s fun last night at the league outing with the competition close with mostly counting coleys around 30cm and some fine flounder making up the bulk of the catches. Most points cash prize on the night went to Michael McGettigan and the 2nd place prize went to a great display of fishing from junior member Katie McGettigan and shared with Gerry McBrearty who also won longest fish prize with a 35cm flounder. Well done to all who took part.

A reminder that anyone wishing to travel to Belmullet get the €20 deposit to Michael so he can book the accommodation and this will be given back down there.

Tight lines
